To the Plants and Spirits
I remember you
from back before I had bones
your spirits, kindred to my soul’s memory
I’ve spent lifetimes woven in your light
Unfurled to the majesty of the jaguar’s flame
Knowing when to strike and when to rest
What is mine to hold
and what life feels like beyond fear
Noble knowing of Divine Power
Grandmother Owl
The original flame held in reverence at our core
On an empty night
with an open heart,
I accepted your calling and our truth together
The silence of your wings can piece through any distortion;
True Sight.
& so together,
we dance the Eagle’s song for all that’s been forgotten,
to call back the power of the original human spirit
with our hearts woven with Nature
We pray, we grieve, we praise
for the opportunity to live this dream.
