The plants remind us of who we are at our core. They hold the divine essence of light in their flowers and the memory and codes of the Earth’s time immemorial in their roots. Their frequency meets ours in a dance of reverent harmony; balancing our bodies, minds and spirits with the rhythm and melody of Earth.
True plant medicine touches us on all levels of our being. It is physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. It is from the deeper connection with a plant’s energetic architecture and spirit that it becomes one’s counselor and aids in emotional clearing; getting to the root of one’s imbalance. They track our body, the memories and stories stored in our cells, the traumas and experiences that we have coded as truth, and support us in deconstructing these paradigms back to health.
Mimosa is a medicine of prosperity. She is a carrier of the soft frequency of divine love; also known as the “Full Happiness Tree” in Chinese Medicine. She is known to decrease anxiety, improve one’s overall mood, and bring a sense of peace to one’s nervous system. She is particularly good at releasing stored grief and stress from trauma.
This day is designed to drop you into the luminous world of Mimosa. Her joyful spirit, heart opening and cleansing powers, as well as her ability to anchor one’s heart in their soul’s purpose. We will embibe her flowers and her bark. I will share mythos and teachings about her history and her medicine. We will go over the chemical constituents present in her medicine, the best time to harvest her and how to create potent medicine with her body. I will share about her South American cousin, Bobinsana, and Amazonian plant medicine ways.
We will do a drum journey with her medicine, guiding us into the deeper channels of our being and our ability to connect and listen to Mimosa’s medicine for us at this unique time in our life.
Finally, we will enter the sweat lodge with her, to journey through her roots, trunk, leaves and flowers, to lighten our spirits and illuminate our true power and beauty.
