All medicines are wildcrafted deep in the Appalachian mountains, far from roads and civilization, in the spaces where the wild ones still roam, and the spirit of nature is intact. I have asked for permission to harvest these plants and leave offerings in exchange for bringing their medicine home.
I tincture in organic 80 proof alcohol within hours of harvest for the strongest medicine. All tinctures are kept in the dark in wooden shelving units with only the light of the crystals that sit beside them that can get in.
All medicines are made in small batches with an awareness of the sacred reciprocity and balance of giving and receiving within Mother Nature.
